Privacy Policy

Effective 13 July 2026 · Applies to all Virelo Studios games, including Fortune Loop: Escape Run.

Virelo Studios ("we", "us") makes mobile games. We are the controller of the information described here. This policy explains what our games collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect the minimum needed to run the game, save your progress and show optional rewarded ads. We do not sell your data, and we never require an account to play.

What we collect

The data below is collected by us to run the game. Where it says "our game servers", we store it in our own database and it is not used for any purpose other than running Fortune Loop and other Virelo games.

DataWhyWhere it's stored
An anonymous player ID (random UUID) Saves your progress and scores without needing an account Our game servers
Gameplay and progress data (scores, coins, unlocks, settings) Cloud backup, leaderboards, restoring progress on a new device Our game servers, tied to your anonymous ID
Email address — optional Only if you choose to register an account, so your progress can follow you across devices Our game servers (account sign-in)
Device and app identifiers (e.g. advertising ID) Serving and measuring rewarded ads; aggregate usage analytics Google AdMob, Firebase Analytics
Crash logs and diagnostics Finding and fixing bugs Firebase Crashlytics (identified only by the anonymous UUID — never your email)

What we don't do

Where the data is stored

Your account, saved progress and leaderboard entries live in our own database, which is hosted for us by Supabase. Supabase is our infrastructure provider — it stores this data on our behalf and under our instructions, and does not use it for its own purposes. Supabase's handling of data as a hosting provider is described in its privacy policy.

Third-party services that collect data

Rewarded ads and app diagnostics are provided by Google. Unlike our database host, these services collect data directly on your device and process it under their own privacy policies:

Your consent & ad choices

If you play in the EU, UK or another region that requires it, we show a consent screen before any ads or analytics load, so you can accept or decline. On iOS we also ask for App Tracking Transparency permission. Analytics and crash reporting stay off until consent allows them. You can change these choices at any time in-game via Settings → Privacy options, or reset ad personalisation in your device settings (Android: Settings → Google → Ads; iOS: Settings → Privacy → Tracking / Apple Advertising).

Offline play

Our games are fully playable offline. When you're offline nothing is sent anywhere; scores and progress sync the next time you're connected.

Data security & retention

All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Progress data is kept for as long as you play so we can restore it; if an anonymous profile stays inactive for an extended period it may be deleted. Crash logs and analytics are retained per Firebase's standard retention windows.

Deleting your data

You can request deletion of your account and all associated data (progress, scores, leaderboard entries, registered email) at any time. Email [email protected] from the address you registered — or include your in-game player name if you play anonymously — and we will delete the data within 30 days. See Support for step-by-step instructions.

Children

Our games are rated for a general audience (Everyone / PEGI 3) and are not directed specifically at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children; registration is optional and ad content is configured to the store's family policies. If you believe a child has registered an email address with us, contact us and we will delete it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (e.g. GDPR in the EU/UK, CCPA in California) you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to its processing. Email us and we'll honour these requests regardless of where you live.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we'll update this page and the effective date above. Material changes will also be noted in the game's release notes.
